Wanna join roller derby with us? Try it: Sun. Sept. 16 & 23 at the CRI from 9:15 – 10:45 AM.
Ages 18+ welcome. No experience needed, we’ll teach you to roller skate & play this great sport!
Cost = $4.20 CRI drop-in fee. CRI (Cumberland Recreational Institute): 2661 Dunsmuir Ave.
Wear gym clothes; bring your water bottle, mouth guard, & health card.
We need 10 mins for paperwork & then we’ll have you rolling!

Required: helmet, wrist guards, elbow & knee pads, quad skates.
If you decide to continue with our Sunday “Fresh Meat” (new skater!) practices Oct-Dec, fees include:
– $4.20 drop-in gym fee to CRI, each skate
– $10/month practice fee to the Betties for the first 3 months
– $30 skater insurance (instructions at registration)
You’ll need your own gear. We’ll help you order from RollerGirl.ca or Vancouver Island Derby Gear Exchange.
